ABB's historic production site in Vittuone, in the province of Milan, has witnessed the Group's development over the past fifty years. Optimising performance and improving efficiency have become key objectives for the company, achievable not only through innovative technologies, introduced for production, but also through the structural improvement of its production sites. With this in mind, the Vittuone factory has undergone a major modernisation of its air-conditioning system. The new heating system covers more than 70% of the existing plant and covers the 50,000 m2 of the warehouse in which the production lines and some auxiliary buildings are located, for a total value of about EUR 4 million.
