FM - Atex

The FM ATEX line is a series of special units designed to treat the air in particular conditions, for example requiring fans suitable for use in ATEX areas. Various sectors are involved, from the extrusion of plastic materials to the car making industry with painting chambers or the production of solvents. The ATEX directive doesn't concern just the fans however; it relates to all those components that could form an ignition risk in certain situations. The evaluation is made for moving parts, and also for components such as filters, which may present a risk owing to their electrostatic charge. The final assessment of the appropriateness of the choices made is entrusted to an external certifying body that confirms the product can be used in the conditions requested.
